August MB415 - Top Quality All-In-One Music System?

I was extremely excited when August offered to send me one of these, it looks to be a top quality product from the off, and it certainly doesn't disappoint either!

This fantastic looking box is packed with features as well, such as DAB/DAB+/FM Radio, Bluetooth connectivity, an SD Card slot, AUX input, USB input, built in battery, and much more! Because of all these features it makes it suitable for almost any possible requirement, however it's found it's home on a bedside table in my house due to its alarm clock feature along with its clock display.

The style of the device is a lovely mix of retro and modern as we've come to expect from August and the build quality is top notch as it is extremely solid. It sits perfectly in place next to the bed and looks extremely stylish and like it's perfectly made to be there due to its size.

The speaker sounds great even on FM, which is usually what kills the sound quality of most devices. The sound fills the room and sounds perfectly clear at high volume with a subtle amount of base.

The only downfall I feel with this magnificent product is the way you have to navigate through the settings. For example setting the alarm requires you to hold down the standby button to turn it off (which takes forever) and then hold down the clock button (which also takes forever) just to turn your alarm on or off, which in my mind is way more difficult than it needs to be.

On the plus side, the display is magnificent and shows you a variety of information, and the battery life is perfect for moving around the house over the course of a few days, and switching between inputs count be any simpler.

All in all though this is a great device and I would highly recommended it to anyone looking for something to play music on multiple platforms around their home! Great work August!
