Wireless charging is something thats intrigued me ever since it first came about, and for the first time I’ve been given the chance to give it a go! But was I disappointed? Lets find out!
First of the unboxing experience was a pleasure thanks to no hassle, simple packaging, and first impressions of the product were very good due to the futuristic design of the product thanks to its anti slip transparent edge and LED indicator glow.
The charge claims to have a fast charging time, and from using it I can tell you that the charging is not by any means slow, but not as fast as using a traditional cable, and not as fast as the wireless charger produced by the same company as the phone I tested it with, but for its low price, what do you expect?
The only irritation I have with this device is the LED that I was initially amused by. I don’t know about you but I tend to charge my phone over night while i sleep by my bed, and the LED is definitely something that could stop some people from sleeping, it’s quirky but definitely not always something you want to see.
The build quality seems to be of a good standard as well, just holding the device you can tell its not been made to an extremely low budget just like some products these days.
Finally I want to talk about who produces this charger. MPOW are the company that sent it to me, however they state that it is manufactured by Patuoxun (who I have mixed opinions about), but on the box of the product, it has the logo of StarCraft. This isn’t a problem but definitely something to bury in mind.
So if you’re looking for a wireless charger and cant afford the one made by the same make as your phone, I would recommend getting this as it is a great cheaper solution.
