August LP310 - Perfect Presentation Companion?

Now I've only had to do powerpoint presentations a handful of time, but each and every single one of those times, having one of these things sure would have been handy. Either having to ask someone to go to the next slide or sitting with the keyboard and mouse is just not ideal or professional at all, and thats where this little device comes in!

This little box of magic not only allows the user to skip slides, it allows the user to fully control the position the mouse! Where the user points device, corresponds where the mouse is on the screen. Buttons on the box allow the user to scroll, left click, right click, and a few other functions depending on how the mouse is set up.

The device also has an LED on the main face to show the status of the mouse and a micro USB charging port as well as an on/off switch on the left. It comes with a built in battery so there will never be a time where it needs changing, just charging with the provided micro USB cable. To hold the pointer as well as the cable, you are suppled with a handy little leather zip case which just adds to its professional appearance, it also comes in white as well as black.

The pointer is plug and play, and comes with a tiny little USB adapter that is stored actually inside the device to prevent it from being lost or left behind, you simply plug and play and it works perfectly with both Mac and Windows. I've used the device multiple times on both systems and it connects quickly and strongly every time without fault.

The build quality is very solid, although its an all plastic design, August always deliver a good standard of build quality and this is no exception. It fits in to the hand comfortably and isn't slippery at all so there'll be no embarrassing drops.

All in all this product is outstanding and a definite must have for teachers and anyone who hold a lot of meetings or presents a lot of presentations.
