VIMVIP Wooden Phone Dock with Fan - Great Summer Accessory?

I usually keep my phone docked at the side of my bed while I sleep, and I was hoping id be able to do the same with this, and keep cool this summer whilst doing so, but unfortunately I couldn't as the product isn't was I was expecting. I was expecting at least a slot in the bottom for me to put a lightning cable through so it could charge my phone,

Unboxing the product was a joy, the packaging is good quality and full of information about the product in different languages and images of the product. Inside the product comes in two pieces so you can have some fun assembling it. Which at first didn't quite click with me as the two pieces don't come together as expected, but I soon figured it out!

The wood is solid, and doesn't feel week and any places so hopefully no part of it should break, not even the fan in the near future. The fan is quiet and sends a cool breeze, I personally can sleep with it on by my bedside.

My only problem with the whole thing is that you can not charge your phone while your phone is stood in it. In an ideal world it would have a charger built in but that wouldn't work brilliant as different phones use different cables, and it would higher the cost. Therefore I was hoping for a USB power outlet on the back of the fan, and a cable run so you can run your own cable under the stand, and into the bottom of your phone. But oh well, its still a useful product.

All in all I do see the point behind this product, but I think a new and improved model needs to be more clever in terms of being able to charge your device. I recommend this product if you're looking to stand your phone on your desktop, and keep cool.
